Course Access and Usage Policy
This Course Access and Usage Policy explains how students may access and use the courses, videos, live classes, recordings, downloadable resources and other learning materials offered by Your Second Mentor through https://yoursecondmentor.co.in. By purchasing, enrolling in or accessing any course, you agree to follow this Policy, our Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy and Refund and Cancellation Policy.
1. Course Access
Course access is provided after:
- Successful payment verification;
- Completion of the required registration details; and
- Successful enrollment in the selected course.
Students must use the same email address for registration and payment wherever possible. Incorrect information may delay course access. Access duration will be mentioned on the relevant course or product page. If a course includes “Lifetime Access,” it means access for as long as that course remains available and maintained on the Your Second Mentor platform, subject to this Policy, applicable laws, technical limitations and platform availability.
2. Personal Learning Licence
Purchasing a course gives you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to access the course for your own learning. Purchasing a course does not transfer ownership of the course videos, recordings, presentations, templates, documents, prompts, designs or other learning materials to you.
3. Student Account and Password
Each student must create and use their own account. You agree that you will:
- Provide correct registration information;
- Keep your login credentials confidential;
- Not share your password with another person;
- Not sell, rent or transfer your student account;
- Immediately inform us if you suspect unauthorized access; and
- Accept responsibility for activity performed through your account.
One student account is intended for one individual student only. You may access the course from your reasonable personal devices. However, unusual simultaneous logins, excessive device changes or access from suspicious locations may be reviewed for account security.
4. Video Lessons and Recordings
Course videos and recordings are generally provided for online streaming through the student learning dashboard. You may not:
- Download a video unless a download option is expressly provided;
- Screen-record or copy course videos;
- Extract private video links;
- Use browser extensions, software or other tools to download protected content;
- Upload course videos to YouTube, Telegram, WhatsApp, Google Drive or another platform;
- Share videos or lesson links with non-enrolled persons; or
- Bypass any technical or access protection.
A downloadable resource may only be downloaded when an official download button or permission is provided.
5. Downloadable Resources and Templates
Some courses may include PDFs, checklists, prompts, worksheets, project files, templates or other resources. You may use permitted downloadable resources:
- For your personal learning;
- To practise the skills taught in the course;
- For your own business projects; and
- For genuine client work where such use is allowed within the lesson.
You may apply the skills and knowledge learned in the course for commercial work. However, you may not:
- Resell our course resources or templates as they are;
- Share them publicly or privately with other people;
- Package them inside your own paid or free course;
- Claim our original materials as your own;
- Remove copyright, branding or ownership notices; or
- Create a competing course by substantially copying our curriculum or materials.
Any additional licence mentioned with a particular template or resource will apply to that resource.
6. Live Classes
Live classes are only for registered students who have access to the applicable course or batch. Students must:
- Join using their registered name or email;
- Behave respectfully towards the mentor and other students;
- Avoid spam, harassment or disruptive behaviour;
- Not record a live class without written permission; and
- Not share live class links with another person.
Live class schedules may occasionally change due to technical issues, mentor availability, holidays or other reasonable circumstances. Students will be informed through the available communication channel. Recordings of missed live classes may be provided where included in the course, but availability can depend on successful recording and technical conditions.
7. Community and Support Usage
If a course includes a WhatsApp group, discussion area, community or support facility, students must use it only for relevant learning and course-related communication. The following are prohibited:
- Abusive, threatening or discriminatory messages;
- Unwanted promotions or spam;
- Sharing another person’s personal information;
- Uploading illegal, harmful or malicious content;
- Sending unrelated bulk messages; and
- Misusing another student’s contact details.
You retain ownership of original questions or project submissions you create. You allow Your Second Mentor to process and display them only as reasonably required to provide learning, feedback and support.
8. Third-Party Tools and Platforms
Courses may teach or demonstrate third-party platforms such as WordPress, Google, Meta, WhatsApp, AI tools, hosting services, advertising platforms or software services. These platforms have their own terms, pricing, account requirements, API charges, advertising costs and availability conditions. Course fees do not include third-party subscriptions, hosting charges, domain costs, API charges or advertising budgets unless expressly stated on the course page. Third-party interfaces, features and prices may change. Your Second Mentor does not control such changes and cannot guarantee that every third-party tool will remain free or continue offering the same features.
9. Course Updates
Digital tools and platforms change regularly. We may update, reorganize, replace or remove outdated lessons to keep course content useful and relevant. Module names, lesson order, software demonstrations and learning resources may be modified without changing the main purpose of the purchased course. Future updates will be provided according to the access terms mentioned on the course page.
10. Technical Requirements
Students are responsible for arranging a compatible smartphone/computer, stable internet connection, supported web browser, required third-party accounts and basic online navigation skills. We provide reasonable platform support, but we are not responsible for local device, browser or network failures.
11. Students Under 18
Students under 18 years of age should purchase and access the course only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. The parent or guardian will be responsible for reviewing the course, payment and platform terms on behalf of the minor.
12. Prohibited Activities
Students must not share accounts, copy content, use scrapers, hack the platform, reverse-engineer systems, impersonate others, upload malware or help unauthorized access.
13. Account Monitoring and Security
We may review reasonable account activity information, such as login attempts, device information, course access records and unusual usage patterns, when required for security, fraud prevention and access management. Such information will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.
14. Suspension or Termination of Access
Course access may be suspended or terminated for account sharing, fraud, piracy, harassment, security abuse or material violations of this Policy. Refunds may not be provided in confirmed violation cases.
15. Restoring Course Access
If access is lost, contact us with your full name, registered email, order details and course name for verification. Never share your password or payment PIN with support.
16. Certificates
Completion certificates confirm participation/completion only and do not constitute formal university degrees or job guarantees unless expressly stated.
17. Intellectual Property
All platform materials are protected under intellectual property laws. To report unauthorized copying or distribution, email us at support@yoursecondmentor.co.in.
18. Platform Availability
While we aim for uninterrupted service, availability may occasionally be affected by maintenance, updates or external network failures beyond our control.
19. Policy Changes
We may update this Policy to reflect technical or legal changes. Revised dates will be displayed at the top of the page.
20. Related Policies
This Policy should be read alongside our Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Refund and Cancellation Policy.
