Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: 23 August 2026 Last Updated: 23 August 2026

These Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions govern participation in the Your Second Mentor Affiliate Program. By registering as an affiliate, generating a referral link or promoting our courses, you agree to these Terms along with our Privacy Policy, Terms and Conditions, Refund and Cancellation Policy, Course Access and Usage Policy and other applicable website policies.

1. About the Affiliate Program

The Your Second Mentor Affiliate Program allows approved affiliates to promote eligible courses using their unique referral link. When a customer purchases an eligible course through a properly tracked affiliate link, the affiliate may earn a commission according to these Terms. Affiliate registration is free. Participation does not create an employment, agency, partnership, franchise or joint-venture relationship with Your Second Mentor.

2. Affiliate Eligibility

To participate, you must:

  • Provide accurate registration details;
  • Provide a valid email address and mobile number;
  • Be at least 18 years old or participate through a parent or legal guardian;
  • Use your own payment details for receiving commissions;
  • Follow applicable advertising, privacy and consumer-protection laws; and
  • Accept these Affiliate Program Terms.

We may approve, reject or request additional information for an affiliate application. Approval is not guaranteed merely because an application has been submitted.

3. Affiliate Account

Each affiliate should maintain only one affiliate account unless written permission is provided. You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your login credentials secure;
  • Maintaining correct profile and payment information;
  • Protecting your unique referral links;
  • Ensuring that promotional content is accurate; and
  • Informing us about unauthorized account access.

Affiliate accounts and referral links cannot be sold, rented or transferred to another person.

4. Affiliate Commission

The standard affiliate commission is:

40% of the eligible net course sale amount

Commission is calculated on the amount actually received by Your Second Mentor after excluding, where applicable:

  • GST and other applicable taxes;
  • Refunds and cancellations;
  • Chargebacks;
  • Failed or fraudulent payments;
  • Unauthorized discounts; and
  • Non-commissionable products or charges.

Example: If an eligible course’s net commissionable value is ₹5,000, the affiliate will earn a 40% commission of ₹2,000.

The commission percentage may differ for selected courses, special campaigns or promotional offers. Any different commission rate will be clearly communicated before the relevant promotion.

5. Referral Tracking

Affiliates must use the unique referral link provided inside their affiliate dashboard. The standard referral tracking period is 30 days, subject to the functionality of the website, browser and affiliate-tracking system. If a visitor clicks multiple affiliate links, the most recent valid tracked referral may receive credit.

Referral tracking may not work when:

  • The visitor deletes or blocks cookies;
  • The visitor uses another browser or device;
  • The visitor uses private or incognito browsing;
  • The referral link is modified incorrectly;
  • Browser extensions block tracking;
  • The customer completes the purchase after the tracking period;
  • The customer later visits the website without a valid tracked referral; or
  • Technical or third-party limitations prevent tracking.

Commission cannot be manually assigned only on the basis of screenshots, messages or verbal claims when the referral was not recorded by the affiliate system. Our affiliate tracking records will be used for determining referral attribution, subject to correction of any confirmed technical error.

6. Commission Approval

A referral may initially appear as pending inside the affiliate dashboard. Commission will be approved only after:

  • Payment is successfully completed;
  • The order is verified;
  • The applicable refund or cancellation period has passed;
  • No chargeback or payment dispute exists; and
  • The referral complies with these Terms.

Pending commission is not guaranteed income and may be rejected if the related order becomes ineligible.

7. Minimum Payout and Schedule

The minimum approved commission required for payout is ₹500. Eligible payouts will generally be processed monthly through UPI or Indian bank transfer. Affiliates must provide correct payout details. We are not responsible for delays or losses caused by incorrect information provided by the affiliate. If the approved balance is below ₹500, it will be carried forward to the next payout cycle. Payout processing may take approximately 7–15 business days after verification. Bank holidays, compliance reviews and incorrect payout details may cause additional delays.

8. Tax and KYC Requirements

Affiliates are responsible for reporting their affiliate income and paying applicable taxes. Your Second Mentor may request full legal name, address, PAN details, bank or UPI details, identity verification, and GST information or an invoice where legally required. Applicable TDS or other statutory deductions may be made according to Indian tax laws. A payout may be held until required verification or documentation is completed.

9. Permitted Promotion Methods

Affiliates may promote eligible courses using social media posts, YouTube videos, blogs and websites, WhatsApp communication with consenting contacts, email communication with consenting subscribers, genuine course reviews, educational content, online communities where promotion is permitted, and other lawful promotional methods.

Affiliates should clearly disclose that they may earn a commission from purchases made through their referral link.

Example disclosure: “Some links shared here are affiliate links. I may earn a commission if you purchase through these links, at no additional cost to you.”

10. Prohibited Promotion Methods

Affiliates must not:

  • Send spam, unsolicited bulk messages or unwanted emails;
  • Make false, exaggerated or misleading claims;
  • Promise guaranteed jobs, income, clients or business results;
  • Claim to be an employee or official representative of Your Second Mentor;
  • Create fake reviews, testimonials or student results;
  • Use fraudulent clicks, bots or automated traffic;
  • Offer unauthorized cashback, discounts or incentives;
  • Use misleading redirects or hidden affiliate links;
  • Promote through illegal, hateful, adult or harmful content;
  • Copy our complete website, course page or branding;
  • Upload or distribute protected course materials;
  • Purchase through their own referral link;
  • Create fake accounts or orders;
  • Encourage customers to make fraudulent refund requests;
  • Misrepresent the course price, duration or inclusions; or
  • Violate the rules of any social media, advertising or communication platform.

Affiliates must not make medical, legal, financial or guaranteed-income claims on behalf of Your Second Mentor.

11. Paid Advertising and Brand Keywords

Affiliates must obtain written permission before running paid advertisements using “Your Second Mentor”, our course names, our logo or protected brand assets, misspellings or variations of our brand name, or advertisements that directly imitate our official advertisements. Affiliates may not bid on our brand name through Google Ads, Meta Ads or another advertising platform without written approval. Affiliates must not register domain names, social media usernames, pages or groups that could falsely appear to be an official Your Second Mentor property.

12. Use of Brand Assets

Approved logos, banners, course images and promotional materials may only be used to promote Your Second Mentor courses during active participation in the Affiliate Program. Affiliates must not modify our logo in a misleading way, claim ownership of our brand assets, use our branding for unrelated products, present themselves as the course owner, or continue using our materials after affiliate access is terminated. All intellectual-property rights remain with Your Second Mentor or their respective owners.

13. Self-Referrals and Related Orders

Affiliates cannot earn commission on their own purchase, an order placed using their own payment account, artificial purchases created only to earn commission, orders made through duplicate or fake accounts, or transactions involving affiliate-account manipulation. Orders from family members, employees or closely connected persons may be reviewed. Commission will only be approved when the purchase is genuine and not made to misuse the Affiliate Program.

14. Refunds, Cancellations and Chargebacks

No commission will be payable for an order that is refunded, cancelled, charged back, fraudulent, unpaid, partially reversed, or found to violate these Terms. If commission has already been credited or paid for an order that is later refunded or charged back, the amount may be deducted from the affiliate’s current or future balance.

15. Affiliate Content Responsibility

Affiliates are responsible for the content they publish. Promotional content must be truthful and clear, use current course information, mention applicable conditions, avoid deceptive income claims, respect intellectual-property rights, and comply with advertising-disclosure requirements. Affiliates must promptly correct or remove inaccurate content when requested. Your Second Mentor is not responsible for unauthorized promises or representations made by an affiliate.

16. No Earnings Guarantee

Joining the Affiliate Program does not guarantee any minimum number of clicks, sales, commissions or income. Results depend on factors such as promotional effort, audience quality, content quality, customer interest, market conditions, and compliance with these Terms. Affiliates must not represent the program as a guaranteed-income or employment opportunity.

17. Account Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or terminate an affiliate account if we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity, self-referrals, spam, misleading promotion, fake orders or traffic, copyright infringement, brand impersonation, account sharing, customer complaints, or any violation of these Terms. Serious violations may result in immediate termination and cancellation of unpaid commissions connected to prohibited or fraudulent activity. An affiliate may leave the program by contacting us. After termination, the affiliate must stop using referral links, logos and promotional materials belonging to Your Second Mentor.

18. Program Changes

We may update commission rates, eligible courses, referral tracking periods, minimum payout requirements, payout methods, promotional rules, or other Affiliate Program features. Changes will apply prospectively after being published or reasonably communicated. Already approved commission will not be reduced without a valid reason such as a refund, chargeback, fraud or calculation error.

19. Program Availability

We may modify, pause or discontinue the Affiliate Program when reasonably necessary. Affiliate dashboard access and tracking may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, software updates, hosting issues or other technical conditions. We will make reasonable efforts to maintain accurate records and resolve confirmed tracking errors.

20. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Your Second Mentor will not be responsible for indirect loss, expected profits, missed referrals or business opportunities caused by tracking limitations, cookie blocking, third-party platforms, internet failures, account suspension due to violations, or changes to or discontinuation of the Affiliate Program. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

21. Privacy

Affiliate personal information will be collected and processed for account management, referral tracking, communication, fraud prevention, payout processing, and legal or tax compliance. Information will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.

22. Governing Law

These Terms will be governed by the applicable laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
